Logana Exploration was founded in 2026 and is headquartered in Denver, Colorado. Our mandate is clear: identify and develop high-quality operated oil and gas positions, with a particular focus on the volatile oil window of the northern Utica / Point Pleasant play in eastern Ohio.
Our name comes from the Logana — the organic-rich lower member of the Point Pleasant and the heart of the section we set out to develop.
The northern Utica is one of the most compelling emerging plays in North America. Its volatile oil window produces light, high-gravity crude from a thick, remarkably consistent Point Pleasant section, and remains significantly under-explored relative to more developed formations. Disciplined operators with the right subsurface toolkit are well positioned to develop it responsibly.
